The rooms at Hotel Alte Werft are absolutely amazing! They have large bay windows that let in so much natural light, making the room feel bright and cheerful. The flat-screen TV is perfect for relaxing and catching up on my favorite shows. The minibar and Nespresso machine are a great addition, providing convenience and a touch of luxury. I also loved having a balcony to enjoy the view and fresh air. The sofa in the room was super comfortable, and the private bathroom with a bathtub, bathrobe, and fluffy slippers made me feel pampered. I felt like a VIP guest in these rooms!
While I loved the room at Hotel Alte Werft, I found the private bathroom with only a partial bathtub a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my personal preference and others might find it perfectly fine!

Not only that, but the hotel is also conveniently located by the main canal, making it easy for me to take a relaxing walk after enjoying the delicious breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was exceptional! There were so many choices available, from DIY waffles to a fresh omelette station. The bar/restaurant had a great atmosphere and I really enjoyed the variety of beers they offered. The hotel itself is a tasteful modern renovation of a 19th-century shipyard, adding to its charm. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making my stay truly enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to families as well.

I really appreciated the tasteful decoration of the hotel's common areas. The elegant furnishings and beautiful flower arrangements created a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with well-maintained elevators and clear signage throughout the premises.
I would have liked to see more knowledgeable staff members who could assist senior guests with information about the local area. The lack of experienced personnel sometimes made it challenging to get recommendations or directions, leaving me feeling a bit lost at times.

Spent my Easter break at a hotel with a stunning location near the canal - perfect for morning walks. I was impressed by the wide range of breakfast options that included DIY waffles and freshly made omelettes. The bar/restaurant ambiance was spot on, complemented with a variety of beers on tap.
My room was outdated and could have been better maintained. The staff seemed inexperienced and unable to offer local recommendations.

I spent my Xmas holidays in this hotel and I must say that the location was fantastic. It was close to everything; shopping centers, the harbor and restaurants. the restaurant in the hotel had amazing food, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. the room was always cleaned and well organized, and the staff were polite and helpful at all times.
For the amount of money I paid, I expected my room to be more modern. the bathroom had an outdated design and looked quite dull.
